City of Las Vegas masters cyber incident response with Darktrace>

The City of Las Vegas has partnered with cybersecurity firm Darktrace to help protect its infrastructure from emerging cyber threats.
Through the collaboration, Darktrace will help the city detect and manage incidents, ensure rapid response and recovery, and allow for optimised security operations.
The city of Las Vegas has faced external threats that have resulted in disruptions of public services and loss of personal data.
To help address this issue, Darktrace’s AI technology will be deployed to identify and monitor abnormal activity, and help the city’s IT team respond quickly and appropriately.
Darktrace’s autonomic defence technology will learn the city’s normal patterns of behaviour, and provide early warning of any suspicious activities, allowing IT teams to take preemptive measures.
The partnership is expected to help the city of Las Vegas strengthen its cyber defences against a growing number of cyber attacks.
It is hoped that the partnership between Darktrace and the city will result in a more secure infrastructure, more efficient incident response, and improved recovery capacity, allowing the city’s IT team to focus their resources on strategic initiatives.
