Deutsche Telekom Expands Security Portfolio with Fortinet Partnership>
– Maurice Broaddus
Deutsche Telekom has announced that it is expanding its Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) portfolio by partnering with Fortinet, a global provider of network and cybersecurity solutions.
The partnership will deliver secure access and user-centric solutions to both enterprise customers and service providers.
The new SASE portfolio will provide comprehensive security services such as secure access service broker (SASB), service layer assurance, and cloud security.
The portfolio is designed to secure multiple cloud and hybrid networks that organizations are gradually migrating towards.
Those networks will be protected against both cyber and insider threat, while also enabling secure access to and from the cloud.
Fortinet’s network and security solutions will help Deutsche Telekom create a secure access service edge (SASE) platform for end-user security.
Such a platform seeks to ensure all users can securely access their cloud networks and applications, while enabling remote users to have the flexibility to easily access all their authorized applications without cumbersome authentication measures.
Furthermore, the new SASE platform will provide threat detection in real-time, automated data discovery to locate security gaps, and better compliance management.
