Tenable Names Cybersecurity Expert Meg O’Leary Chief Marketing Officer

Tenable has appointed Meg O’Leary as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
O’Leary brings more than two decades of marketing and communications experience, particularly in the cybersecurity industry.
She has previously served as the CMO of Cybereason, where she positioned the company as a leader in endpoint security.
O’Leary was also the CMO of Capsule8, a cloud workload protection pioneer, before its acquisition by Sophos.
She co-founded InkHouse Marketing+Media, a public relations agency, where she advised on numerous company and product launches, IPOs, and acquisitions.
In her new role at Tenable, O’Leary will lead the global marketing organization and be responsible for brand awareness, messaging, go-to-market strategy, and demand generation.
Tenable’s chairman and CEO, Amit Yoran, expressed confidence in O’Leary’s ability to help differentiate the company’s cybersecurity capabilities.
O’Leary herself is excited about joining Tenable and contributing to the company’s growth and market shift in reducing risk for organizations.
