Blue Mantis, a digital strategy and services provider, has partnered with InnoVets to launch CodeX, a program aimed at providing military veterans with cybersecurity and IT education, training, mentorship, and job placement assistance.
InnoVets is a business accelerator focused on supporting veterans and Gold Star Families and operates under the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes organization.
The initiative, led by Blue Mantis executives and veterans Josh Dinneen and Jay Pasteris, will also be open to military families and spouses.
The program will offer free courses and training in a hybrid format, with plans to expand nationally within one to two years.
The goal of the partnership is to address the shortage of cyber and technical professionals by equipping veterans for high-paying jobs in these fields.
The first class of CodeX students will start courses later this year, and the program will be introduced at Blue Mantis’ Cloudscape 2023 conference.
