Cybereason, an endpoint detection and response company, has launched its first Global Partner Program, aimed at enhancing its channel relationships and spurring growth.
The new program is segmented into three tiers: authorized, gold, and platinum, each with its own revenue and certification requirements.
Advantages escalate with each tier, offering partners sales and technical training, deal registration, market development funds (MDF), and discounts.
The program is led by the newly appointed channel chief, Gregg Henebry, who brought his expertise from Fuze to Cybereason in May.
Cybereason, which received $25 million in funding in May, is known for its comprehensive visibility into cyber attacks, tracing the root cause and the specifics of the breach.
Cybereason is committing to the channel with additional investments, including funding for demand generation and market activities as well as incentives like a raffle for a Range Rover for qualifying sales personnel.
COO of Set Solutions, John Marler, acknowledged a noticeable shift in Cybereason’s maturity towards channel partnerships over the last year, positioning the company to compete effectively in the competitive endpoint security marketplace.
The company has recently made strategic executive hires and expanded its sales force, focusing on channel growth.
Andrew Byron, the Chief Revenue Officer of Cybereason, stressed that in the face of evolving cybersecurity challenges, having a robust channel and partner program is critical for meeting customer needs and expanding the company’s reach.
Cybereason aims to differentiate in the market through its cloud-based platform and architecture, and sees the bolstered channel program as a vehicle to scale this unique product.
With an existing network of over 40 partners globally, Cybereason plans to expand its partner base to include various types of companies, such as boutique security solutions providers, regional VARs, MSPs, system integrators, and telecom firms, given the wide range of applications for its security solutions.
