AI SPERA’s Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) search engine, Criminal IP, has recently entered into a technology partnership with Quad9, a free anycast DNS platform, to exchange threat intelligence data based on domains and potentially IP addresses
This collaboration aims to protect users by blocking threats to end users
Criminal IP’s threat intelligence data underwent rigorous evaluation before being integrated with Quad9’s threat-blocking service
The test results showed that 99.1% of malicious domains identified by Criminal IP’s threat intelligence were non-duplicative with other TI data
Quad9 leverages Criminal IP’s up-to-date threat intelligence lists to block harmful hostnames, safeguarding computers, mobile devices, and IoT systems from various threats while ensuring privacy and optimizing performance
Quad9 operates on a high-performance global network and partners with Criminal IP to enhance its mission of improving the privacy and cybersecurity of Internet users
The specially designed Criminal IP Malicious Domains Retrieval API sends the Domain Data Feed identified as malicious to Quad9 for integration, which is then utilized alongside other threat intelligence data sources to create a comprehensive blocklist for user protection
In addition to the threat-blocking results on Quad9, users can access more detailed information about domain components using Criminal IP’s Domain Search
This vulnerability scanner tool analyzes various domain details, identifies potentially malicious content and replicated phishing domains, and provides an overall domain score and a Domain Generation Algorithm (DGA) score
Byungtak Kang, CEO of AI SPERA, stated that the partnership with Quad9 recognizes the accuracy of Criminal IP’s data and is expected to contribute to the protection of Quad9’s global end-users while enhancing the quality of Criminal IP’s data
End users can activate the integrated threat-blocking security service by using the Quad9 DNS server (9.9.9.9)
AI SPERA launched Criminal IP globally on April 17, 2023, following a successful year-long beta phase
The company has established partnerships with global security firms and educational institutions and offers personalized plan options suitable for company use
Criminal IP is available in five languages, providing a powerful and accurate CTI search engine for users worldwide.
