Enhancing Security: Non-Disruptive DDoS Attack Simulations with MazeBolt RADAR>
Microsoft Blog – Amir Dahan
Summary:
Microsoft has introduced a new collaboration with MazeBolt to provide customers with a non-disruptive and continuous way to validate their external attack surface for DDoS vulnerabilities using the MazeBolt RADAR™ platform
This platform helps organizations identify and mitigate DDoS vulnerabilities using Azure DDoS protection services
Key points:
1) DDoS attacks are a major security concern, and any endpoint reachable through the internet can be a target.
2) DDoS attack simulations are essential for a solid incident management response plan.
3) The MazeBolt RADAR™ platform uses non-disruptive DDoS attack simulations to identify vulnerabilities without interrupting the production environment.
4) RADAR automatically and continuously uses thousands of attack simulations to identify and enable the elimination of DDoS vulnerabilities.
5) The platform provides real-time simulation views, real-time interactive analytics, on-demand reports, and quarterly executive summaries.
6) RADAR supports multi-tenant management, allowing users to view and manage multiple deployments through a single UI.
7) The platform can integrate with preferred SIEM solutions for alerts and offers two-factor authentication for increased security.
8) MazeBolt’s RADAR platform is deployed within Azure and can only simulate attacks against Azure-hosted public IP addresses belonging to the user’s Azure subscription.
9) To run DDoS simulations with RADAR™, target public IP addresses must be protected under the Azure DDoS Protection SKU.
10) MazeBolt services are sold separately from Azure DDoS Protection and can be purchased directly through MazeBolt.
