Sophos acquires security start-up to boost public cloud offerings>

Sophos has acquired security start-up Avid Secure, taking control of the emerging provider to boost public cloud offerings. Specifically, the start-up offers âend-to-end protectionâ in public cloud services across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

>From a technology perspective, Avid Secure partners with AWS, SentinelOne and Splunk, in addition to HashiCorp and Allgress.
