IT decision-makers confident they can handle tech disruptions – Evisos info

According to a recent survey of business IT decision makers, most are confident that they will be able to handle the technology disruptions that may be caused by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The survey, conducted by Gartner, asked IT decision makers how they would respond to the potential disruptions caused by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The survey found that 72 percent of respondents said they felt that they had at least a moderate understanding of the associated technology and were confident they could manage the impacts.
Additionally, 83 percent claimed they had implemented strategies to manage the disruptions and nearly 90 percent said they had dedicated personnel and budgets to handle the changes.
The survey also revealed that the respondents had mixed views of the potential markets for Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies.
While 45 percent of respondents thought the markets would be worth investing in for the long-term, 39 percent felt that the markets were not worth investing in and 16 percent were unsure.
The findings of the survey suggest that IT decision makers have a good understanding of the potential disruption that the Fourth Industrial Revolution could bring and are confident they can manage the impacts.
In addition, the survey reveals that IT decision makers have mixed views about the potential markets for Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, with some being unsure if they are worth investing in.
