Remote workers are more aware of cybersecurity risks than in-office employees: New study>

This new study, which was conducted by the Cloud Security Alliance, looked into the cybersecurity awareness of remote and in-office workers and found that remote workers had a better understanding of the risks involved with working online.
The research found that 48 percent of remote workers considered themselves to be knowledgeable about cybersecurity, compared to only 26 percent of in-office workers.
The research also discovered that remote workers were more likely to report suspicious activity than their in-office counterparts, with 57 percent of remote workers indicating they would report potential threats, compared to just 33 percent of in-office workers.
The research concluded that this was likely due to the fact that remote workers, who are more likely to work with cloud solutions, were more aware of the importance of reporting potential security threats.
