DirectDefense Launches ThreatAdvisor 3.0 to Streamline Security Operations with SOAR Technology
ADVFN –
DirectDefense, a leading information security services company, has announced the launch of ThreatAdvisor 3.0, its proprietary security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platform.
ThreatAdvisor 3.0 is designed to enhance the speed, efficiency, and accuracy of DirectDefense’s Security Operations Center (SOC).
It offers continuous security monitoring and management, automates manual processes, and includes a comprehensive knowledge base for compliance, security events, and mitigation techniques.
The platform can be customized for each client’s unique needs, aligning with DirectDefense’s white glove approach to delivering personalized security services.
ThreatAdvisor 3.0 is built with scalability in mind and integrates with other solutions, providing a single interface for threat management with improved data and contextual information.
It collects and processes vulnerability and asset data from multiple sources, providing a holistic view of an organization’s security posture.
The platform supports various security assessments, including penetration testing, operational technology (OT) and industrial control systems (ICS) assessments, vulnerability management, managed detection and response (MDR), compliance assessments, and enterprise risk management.
The platform incorporates built-in delivery workflows and playbooks based on an extensive knowledge base, ensuring a consistent and high standard of service delivery for DirectDefense customers while allowing customization for specific requirements.
ThreatAdvisor 3.0 is used by the internal SOC analyst team and offers a customer-facing dashboard for remediation management and monitoring the overall tactical security of an organization.
New enhancements include compliance project planning to aid customers in achieving desired levels of compliance and asset management, a compliance knowledge base for data collection procedures, and a risk register for managing policy and risk exceptions.
The risk register evaluates exception requests based on risk exposure and mitigating factors, with higher-level approvals required for increased risk exposure.
ThreatAdvisor’s latest features are now available and included in all managed security services provided by DirectDefense.
