Genetec unveils Security Center SaaS: a leap in physical security tech>
Security Brief – Sean Mitchell
Genetec has introduced Security Center SaaS, a scalable, open and unified software-as-a-service solution for physical security that integrates access control, video management, intrusion monitoring, automation and other advanced capabilities.
It is designed with a focus on cybersecurity and privacy, charting a new course for cloud-based physical security solutions in the enterprise market.
Security Center SaaS provides a hybrid deployment model, allowing organizations flexibility to move components and sites to the cloud as needed, using a mix of cloud-native services and cloud-managed appliances.
The open architecture allows choice of devices, cameras and door controllers, addressing previous limitations of proprietary cloud solutions.
It enables centralized monitoring and management across multiple sites, suitable for sectors like retail, education, corporate campuses, banking, healthcare and cities.
For channel partners, it represents an opportunity to expand business with larger margins and long-term customer satisfaction through an automated quoting, ordering and deployment process.
Security Center SaaS is set for global availability in April 2024 through Genetec’s certified partners, offered in tiered subscription plans based on device connections.
