Tech Industry Vets Jim Clark, Tom Jermoluk Launch Beyond Identity>

Jim Clark and Tom Jermoluk, technology entrepreneurs who founded Netscape, Silicon Graphics and @Home Network, have launched identity and access management (IAM) company Beyond Identity. Moreover, Beyond Identity has raised $30 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Koch Disruptive Technologies and New Enterprise Associates. The Beyond Identity Cloud platform delivers passwordless identity management, the company stated. It replaces passwords with self-signed certificates to provide a secure alternative to traditional password managers. Beyond Identity Cloudâs features include: ⢠No passwords for users to create, remember or change. ⢠No central storage of passwords to eliminate the risk of bulk credential breaches or credential-stuffing attacks. ⢠Device and device security posture audit records and a machine-verifiable audit trail. ⢠Configuration-based integrations with single sign-on (SSO) solutions from Ping Identity, Okta and ForgeRock.
