F5 Networks spends $500m on cloud computing start-up to ‘redefine competitive position’>

F5 Networks has today announced it will acquire US cloud computing start-up Volterra for $500m (â¬409.04m).

The $11.94bn US software defined application vendor called the move necessary to remain competitive in the edge solutions market.
