Cybersecurity Firm Buys IT Service Provider: Cyemptive Acquires Interpreting Technology>

Cyemptive Technologies has acquired Interpreting Technology. The deal unites a cybersecurity firm with an IT services and support company with ethical hacker expertise. Both firms are based in the state of Washington. Financial terms were not disclosed. Cyemptive emerged from stealth mode with $3.5 million in Series A funding in early 2020. The startup develops pre-emptive cybersecurity products and various managed services. The companyâs executive team includes multiple NSA and Microsoft veterans â including Microsoftâs former CISO. Interpreting Technology specializes in business IT support, including security compliance, virtualization, backup and Office 365. The company also has ethical hacking and forensics expertise. Cyemptive gains roughly 250 customers from the deal. All of Interpreting Technology team members are joining Cyemptive, though headcount figures were not disclosed.
