Dynatrace To Buy Rookout To Expand Debugging Capabilities | CRN

Dynatrace, an AI-powered performance management and analytics platform, is set to acquire Rookout, a startup that provides debugging capabilities, for an undisclosed sum. The purchase is part of Dynatrace’s expansion of its Digital Experience Intelligence platform, which provides insights into application performance in hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Dynatrace plans to combine the debugging capabilities of Rookout with its existing application analytics and observability product lines. “The addition of Rookout will enable customers to debug their applications faster, improve reliability and accelerate the development of so-called âzero downtimeâ applications,” Dynatrace CEO John Van Siclen said in a statement. “This significantly advances our journey toward providing no-touch, AI-driven solutions that make the lives of our customers easier.â Rookout has also secured backing from Intel Capital since it was founded in 2018, and has a customer base primarily comprised of enterprise-level businesses.
