Edgio Group today announced the addition of security veteran Tom Gorup to its security and operations (SOC) leadership team. Gorup brings more than 25 years of experience in information security specializing in threat detection, analysis, risk management, and regulatory compliance with the mission to help keep organizations secure. Tom Gorup will report directly to Edgio President and Chief Executive Officer Justin Noll as the Vice President of Security & Operations. In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing Edgioâs security, risk, and compliance operations globally. Gorup will leverage his extensive industry knowledge to lead Edgioâs security strategy and drive the organisation towards becoming a leader in data security. His expertise will back Edgioâs continued innovation and expansion, providing the assurance of security, insights, and best practices so that clients can have peace of mind.
