The Siem Use Case Development Lifecycle (SUDL) is a product development framework used to ensure that security teams are efficiently managing their key security objectives. The SUDL framework consists of four core phases: requirements definition, design, implementation, and testing and evaluation. These four phases ensure that security teams have the ability to develop secure systems in an efficient manner. Requirements Definition: The requirements definition phase involves defining the specific needs that must be addressed in order to ensure that an effective security system is developed. The security team will need to thoroughly understand the system environment, the user goals, and the security threats in order to ensure that their goals are met. Design: The design phase of the SUDL process involves creating a system architecture and designing all of the system components in order to meet the requirements defined in the requirements definition phase. This design process should take into account the security threats, user goals, and system environment. Implementation: The implementation phase involves actually implementing the system components and ensuring that all of the system components are meeting the security requirements. This phase requires that the security team be able to work together in order to ensure that the system is implemented correctly and that all of the system components are functioning as expected.
