Security Onion 24.20 is now available.
This is a major release featuring numerous improvements and bug fixes, including full Elastic 7.10 support, a new sensor installer, improved Suricata integration, and more.

This major release includes the following highlights:
1.
Full Elastic 7.10 Support: Security Onion 24.20 includes full support for Elastic 7.10.
Elastic 7.10 includes the very latest features and improvements in the Elastic Stack, including improved performance and security features.
2.
Sensor Installer: A new sensor installer has been added to the Management Console, which allows customers to quickly and easily deploy sensors to multiple machines.
3.
Improved Suricata Integration: Security Onion 24.20 includes improved Suricata integration, such as more logging options, better analysis tools, and system-wide logging.
4.
Enhanced Network Monitoring: Security Onion 24.20 includes new features that make it easier for customers to monitor their networks, such as integration with the Elastic Station agent, and better integration with the Zeek network security monitor.
5.
Usability Enhancements: Numerous usability enhancements have been added to make the experience of using Security Onion easier and more intuitive.
