Accenture Buys Innotec Security to Expand Footprint in Spain
Info Sec Today –
Accenture has acquired Innotec Security, a prominent cybersecurity service provider in Spain, to enhance its support for global companies with operations in the country.
This acquisition brings an additional 500 cybersecurity experts with specialized skills—ranging from threat simulation and incident management to cyber intelligence—to Accenture Security’s workforce, bolstering its expertise across major vendors like Microsoft and Palo Alto Networks.
The merger aims to strengthen Accenture’s in-country business in Spain and extend its services across Europe.
Innotec is noted for its work with government and critical infrastructure organizations, and its extensive certifications make it a trusted provider in Spain.
Accenture aims to leverage Innotec’s capabilities to offer around-the-clock global services, bolstered by recent investments in cloud-based security solutions and collaboration with tech giants like Google and Microsoft.
In the short term, Innotec will retain its brand and operate separately, with full integration into Accenture Security expected within a year.
Accenture’s plan includes growing its Spanish workforce significantly within the next two to three years and it is tracking client satisfaction, revenue, and headcount growth closely following the integration.
Accenture Security’s global revenue growth, which stood at 24% recently, is expected to continue and potentially double in the next few years.
