Manila Standard –
The study by Kaspersky highlights the impact of budget allocation on cybersecurity in businesses across Asia Pacific.
The research divulges that insufficient cybersecurity investment has led to a significant number of cyber incidents in the past two years, affecting different industries.
Notably, most industries are actively seeking to bolster their cybersecurity, with a particular focus on threat detection software, educational programs for cybersecurity professionals and general staff, endpoint protection software, hiring additional IT professionals, and adopting SaaS cloud solutions.
The findings also stress the need for aligning cybersecurity investment with business strategy and consider cybersecurity as a business goal.
Kaspersky emphasizes the importance of implementing cybersecurity products with Advanced Anomaly Control, using easily-manageable solutions, investing in training for all staff, seeking expert help for security assessments and architecture design, and referring to Kaspersky’s ‘Cybersecurity on a budget’ resource for small and medium businesses.
These strategic measures aim to fortify business cybersecurity while ensuring optimal budget allocation.
