The article is announcing a new release of Slips, a behavioral-based machine learning intrusion detection system developed by the research team at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
The new release includes several new features and fixes to improve the logging of evidence in alerts.json and alerts.log, optimize the storage of evidence in the Redis database, fix various issues with adding flows to incorrect time windows, setting SSH version changing evidence, closing Redis ports using -k, closing the progress bar module, and releasing the terminal when Slips is done.
