Sophos, a UK-based cyber security-as-a-service company, has launched Partner Care, a centralised resource to better serve existing channel partners and secure new business
The company’s Africa operation, based in South Africa, plans to use this resource to expand into the continent’s mid-tier cyber security services market
Highlights:
Partner Care consists of 35 Sophos experts who handle operational issues and non-technical queries for channel partners, allowing resellers to focus more on engaging with customers
Sophos aims to be the market leader in the mid-market globally, particularly in Africa, by offering a portfolio that includes endpoint security, firewall, and Managed Detection and Response (MDR)
MDR is a key focus for Sophos SA, with plans to partner with vendors to integrate vulnerability assessment into its offering
The company has over 21,000 MDR customers globally and alliances with Tenable and Veeam
The shortage of cyber security skills remains a significant challenge for the global cyber security ecosystem, and Sophos intends to collaborate with channel partners to develop a sustainable action plan to address this issue
At a recent partner event, SevenC Computing won the Cloud Partner of the Year Award, Tarsus secured the Distributor of the Year Award, and Convex Computer Systems clinched the SADC Partner of the Year Award.
